The Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile or FIA sanctioned the Dubai Autodrome which is a circuit of 5.39 km for motor sports and is located in Dubai. The Dubai Autodrome opened in 2004 while the final round of Renault V6 Eurocup Season was going on and this was the initial part of development of the motor city which could be used. The A1 Grand Prix and the G.T. Championship were hosted here in 2005 December and from 2004 to 2005 respectively. A major Dubai attraction on any Dubai tour the autodrome is a must visit for any tourist.
