A spectacular water theme park located in Dubai city is the Wild Wadi Waterpark that covers an area of 12 acres and has about 24 thrilling state-of-the-art slides and rides. Wild Wadi also known as Jumairah is located in the rural area of Dubai, along the Jumeirah Beach Road and must be seen during Dubai travel. You can see this theme park situated right next to Burj Al Arab hotel and Jumeirah beach hotel. It takes only 20 minutes to reach this place from the main city. Wild Wadi is an outdoor waterpark with multiple water slides, a heated/cooled wave pool, and two artificial surfing machines. Also the park has the largest water slide outside of North America. The water park also has three restaurants, two gift shops and two snack stands.

This water park has the design of an Arabian wadi (oasis) and has characteristics of Arabian folklore. The theme park is a part of Dubai tours and Dubai attractions. Most of the attractions and rides interconnect. Visitors to the Wild Wadi water theme can take part in all the water rides. They can also get life jackets, rubber rings and body boards. There are 90 lifeguards in this park who will be able to safeguard visitors from harm. The rides in this water theme park are suitable for children of all ages that make it a favourite water sports area in Dubai. This place must be seen during Dubai travel.

The Rides at Wild Wadi
Jumeirah Sceirah - This ride is the fastest and tallest free-fall water slide located outside North America. The ride soars to 33 meters or 108 feet and professional riders up to 80 KMs per hour, make it an unforgettable experience for adventure lovers.

Master Blaster – These are described as uphill water roller coasters and have 8 Master Blaster slides in Wild Wadi. In these rides, riders can sit on double or single ring, which get propelled by high-powered water jets uphill.

Ring Rides – There are 7 ring rides in Wild Wadi Dubai which are known as downhill gravity slides. In these rides, riders can sit in double or single rings which slides down fast to the bottom of the slide.

Family ride is a two part ride. The first half of the ride, Summit Surge, blasts riders uphill into a pool area. The second half is known as the Rushdown Ravine which takes riders on a 170 m (560 ft) downhill slide.

Other Rides – There are other rides in this park such as Juha’s journey, Flow Riders, Juha’s Dhow, Breaker’s Bay, Lagoon, Flood River Flyer and Wadi wash.

Timings
Daily, the Wild Wadi Waterpark opens at 11am. The water theme park however has different closing hours throughout the year. In January, February, November and December it closes at 6pm, while in March, April, May, September and October it closes at 7pm. During the summer months comprising of June, July and August, the theme park closes at 9pm and Thursday is an women’s only day.

Prices
The pricing of tickets at Wild Wadi Dubai are Dhs. 250 (US$ 68) for everyone above (3.6 feet), while for others the charge is Dhs. 250 (US$ 68). There is free pick-up and drop-off facility and 2 guests minimum is required for an order.

Apart from the entrance fee, you have to pay a Dhs. 20 (US$ 5.50) for renting a towel or a locker. Those persons staying at the Burj Al Arab or Jumeirah Beach Hotel can have free access to the Wild Wadi Water Park.
