Dubai is not only famous for its rich oil reserves but some of the architectural marvels that have made its entry in the recent past have made Dubai one of the spectacular and modern cities of today that attracts millions of tourists every year. Some of the superb wonders of Dubai which must be seen during Dubai travel are as follows.

When it opens in 2009, the Burj Dubai will be the world’s tallest building. The building is located at the “First Interchange” and part of a 2 km2 (0.8 sq mi) development called ‘Downtown Dubai’. The building can be seen by visitors in the Sheikh Zayed road at Doha Street. The total budget for the Burj Dubai project is roughly $4 billion US dollars.

The next wonder of Dubai is the Palm Islands which comprises the three largest artificial islands in the world which must be visited during Dubai travel. They are being constructed by Nakheel Properties. The islands are The Palm Jebel Ali, the Palm Jumeirah and The Palm Deira. The Islands are located in the Persian Gulf off the coast of The United Arab Emirates.

Dubailand is another wonder of Dubai and is the biggest amusement park collection in the world. It is twice the size of Disney World and is expected to be a complete city segregated into six theme worlds

Hydropolis is another architectural wonder of Dubai and a major Dubai attraction. It is situated 66 feet below the surface of the Persian Gulf.

The World which is a group of world shaped artificial islands is another great wonder of Dubai which must be a part of Dubai tours.

The Dubai Mall, the largest mall in the world when completed will become another great wonder of Dubai.
Ski Dubai is one of the biggest indoor ski resorts in the world, with 22,500-square metres of indoor ski area. It is comprised in the Mall of the Emirates, which is one of the biggest malls in the world.
